White bean dip

Nutrient-packed white beans are the main ingredient in this easy homemade dip. Add bread and fresh vegie sticks and your work or school-day lunch is ready to eat.

White bean dip
  • 300 gram can butter beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1/3 cup natural yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • vegetable sticks, grissini and mini toasts to serve

    Blend or process beans, yoghurt, juice and garlic until smooth.

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Serve with vegetable sticks and bread.


makes 1 cup DIPPERS: Make some dippers by cutting pieces of celery, carrot, capsicum and cheese. Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. Any canned white bean can be substituted for butter beans.
