Method
1.In a frying pan, heat half the oil on medium. Sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add spices and oregano, then sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Transfer to a bowl. Cool slightly, then combine with mince and shape into 12 balls. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
2.COUSCOUS SALAD. Place couscous in a heatproof bowl. Pour over water. Set aside, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Cool, then stir in remaining ingredients and season.
3.In the same frypan, heat remaining oil on medium. Cook meatballs, turning, for 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked.
4.Top each pita with a large spoonful of couscous salad and 3 meatballs. Serve with salad and hummus.
