Homemade mint sauce

Homemade mint sauce is nothing like the kind you buy in a jar. It's minty, sharp with vinegar and just a little bit sweet too. Perfect for dolloping over slices of juicy roast lamb.

Ingredients

Homemade mint sauce
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 small bunch mint, finely chopped

Method

Homemade mint sauce

    Place vinegar, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring over low heat until sugar dissolves.
