Herb and chilli butter

Bread and butter is no longer a boring supper with this 10 minute recipe that has just six ingredients.

Herb and chilli butter
  • 250 gram softened butter
  • 1/3 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves, crushed garlic
  • 1 grated zest lemon
  • 1 seeded, finely chopped birdseye chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Spoon butter onto baking paper and roll into a thick log (or two smaller logs), twisting ends to seal. Chill until required.
