Fish burger

Ingredients

Fish burger
  • cooking oil spray
  • 4 boneless fish fillets
  • juice of 1 lemon, plus extra wedges, to serve
  • 4 slices tasty cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • 1/4 cup (75 grams) mayonnaise
  • 50 gram lettuce leaves

Method

    Spray a hot pan with cooking oil. Cook fish 2-3 minutes on each side, drizzling with lemon juice. Keep warm.

    Place 1 slice cheese on bottom half of each bun. Melt under a hot grill. Spread mayonnaise over remaining halves.

    Arrange lettuce on melted cheese. Top with fish, drizzle with a little more mayonnaise and replace bun tops. Serve immediately.

Notes

Fish can also be cooked on a preheated barbecue plate, if preferred.
