Ingredients

Method

1.Heat oil in a large wide-based saucepan over medium heat. Cook the onion until softened. Add the bacon and mushrooms; cook, stirring, until mushrooms are tender.
2.Add flour to pan and stir until well combined. Add the wine cook, stirring continuously, until thickened and bubbling. Add the water and simmer until thickened slightly.
3.Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until just heated through.
4.Serve sprinkled with parsley.

Diced bacon is available from the deli section of supermarkets.
