Caramel crackles
- 125 gram white marshmallows
- 300 gram packet jersey caramels
- 1/2 cup cream
- 30 gram butter
- 5 cup rice bubbles
- 1 cup coconut
Method
Caramel crackles
- 1Combine caramels, cream, butter and marshmallows in a saucepan, stir over a low heat, without boiling, until the marshmallows and caramels have melted and mixture is smooth.
- 2Place rice bubbles and coconut in a large bowl, add the marshmallow mixture and mix well. Spoon mixture into paper patty cases then refrigerate for several hours until firm.
