Method

1.Preheat oven, with baking tray on centre shelf, to 200°C/180°C fan forced. Sift flour and cinnamon into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Using fingers rub in margarine to make tiny crumbs.
2.Add milk and raisins to flour; stir until mixture just comes together. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface; knead until smooth.
3.Roll pastry out between sheets of baking paper to a 😯 x 2Ocm rectangle. Sprinkle pear over dough. From long edge, roll up into a log. Using a sharp knife, trim ends, then out into 12 slices. Arrange scrolls, out-side up. side by side on a piece of baking paper. Slide paper onto hot tray. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and cooked.
4.Sift icing sugar and cocoa powder into a small bowl. Add extra milk; stir until combined and smooth. Drizzle scrolls with sauce mixture; serve at once.

To prevent pear discolouring, drizzle with orange juice.
