1.In a medium saucepan, place cranberry juice, strawberries, glucose syrup, sugar and vanilla over low heat. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to moderately high. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until reduced by a third (you should have about 3 cups). Remove from heat. Cool slightly.
2.Strain mixture through a muslin (or cheesecloth)-lined sieve. Discard solids. Carefully pour into hot sterilised bottles. Seal. Cool.
Replace strawberries with frozen cranberries.
