1.Place ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 1 cup ice cubes. Shake vigorously then strain into chilled 120ml (4-fluid ounce) martini glass.
Bartenders frequently use sugar syrup instead of sugar to sweeten drinks because it blends instantly. Sugar syrup will keep in a screw-top jar in the fridge for up to 2 months.
