Method
1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2.Cut 24 x 8cm rounds from pastry. Place 12 rounds onto prepared tray.
3.Place 1 heaped teaspoon of meat mixture into centre of each round. Top evenly with cheese.
4.Brush edges with a little egg yolk and top with remaining pastry rounds. Use a fork to seal edges.
5.Brush pies with remaining egg yolk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve with sauce.
If desired, use leftover casserole or bolognese sauce instead of canned steak.
