1.Sprinkle sausages with taco seasoning; stand for 5 minutes. Combine tomato, onion, chilli and 2 teaspoons of the oil in a small bowl; mix salsa well.
2.Preheat oven to 180°/160°C fan forced. Place taco shells on a baking tray. Bake for 5 minutes or until crisp.
3.Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in a small frying pan over moderate heat. Add sausages; cook and turn for 5-6 minutes or until cooked
4.Place lettuce in the base of each taco shell. Top with sausage, cheese, tomato salsa, avocado and sour cream. Serve.
Chipolatas are small sausages. Use leftover taco seasoning in chilli can carne. You can barbecue sausages. Assemble tacos just before serving.
