Ingredients

1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar

1 1/2 cup (125ml) water

2 cup (500m|) vodka

2 tablespoon cranberry juice

1/2 teaspoon rosewater

ice cubes

fresh rose petals, to serve

Method

1.Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.

2.Place the sugar syrup, vodka, cranberry juice and rosewater into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake well to combine.

3.To serve, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with rose petals.
