Method
1.Preheat oven to hot, 200°C. Lightly grease 4 shallow ovenproof dishes.
2.In a jug, whisk together cream, eggs and vanilla bean paste.
3.Silt flour into medium mixing bowl and mix sugar through. Make well in centre of the flour mixture and whisk in cream mixture until smooth.
4.Divide cherries among dishes. Pour over batter and sprinkle with extra sugar.
5.Bake clafoutis for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through. Serve warm dusted with icing sugar and accompany with ice-cream.
MAKES 4 Canned, fresh or frozen fruit can be used, but remember to drain all canned fruit well before using.
