1.Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C. Line a large oven tray with baking paper.
2.In a large bowl, combine mince, breadcrumbs, onion, egg and basil. Season and mix well.
3.Shape ½ cups of mixture into log shapes. Top each with a mozzarella slice and wrap in a slice of prosciutto (secure with a toothpick if needed). Arrange on tray, seam-side down.
4.Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked. Cool on tray for 5 minutes. Serve with salad and bread.
Note
- If desired, add some chopped semi sun-dried tomatoes to mince mixture before moulding.
