Method
1.Preheat oven to 200°C. Spray muffin pans with cooking oil.
2.Cut 18 x 7cm circles using a fluted cutter. Ease into pans.
3.Spoon about 1 teaspoon jam into each recess. Cut strips from remaining pastry. Top each tart with 4-6 strips in a criss-cross pattern, trimming to fit.
4.Brush with a little milk. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Serve.
Tarts also look lovely baked in shallow patty pans.
