Ingredients
Lamb meatballs
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoon each mint and coriander leaves, plus extra to serve
2 clove garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
500 gram lamb mince
1 tablespoon olive oil
natural yoghurt to serve
Warm salad
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 carrots, peeled, shredded
2 spring onions, thinly sliced
400 gram can chickpeas, rinsed
1/4 cup currants
Method
1. In a small food processor, combine onion, herbs, garlic and spices.
2. In a bowl, combine lamb mince with spice paste. Shape into eight patties. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. In a large frying pan, heat oil on medium- high. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes each side.
4. Serve patties with warm carrot salad, yoghurt and extra herbs.

5. In another frying pan, heat oil on medium. Sauté carrot and onion for 1-2 minutes. Add chickpeas and currants.
