Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
2.Using an electric mixer, beat margarine, sugar and vanilla in a small bowl until light and creamy. Add condensed milk, then beat until combined.
3.Sift flour and cocoa powder into margarine mixture. Using a large metal spoon, stir gently until well combined.
4.Roll tablespoons of mixture into 20 balls. Place on prepared tray, leaving room for slight spreading. Using a fork, press balls to flatten into 5cm rounds. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on tray for 10 minutes (biscuits will firm). Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
5.Place chocolate in a small heatproof bowl over a small saucepan of simmering water (don’t let water touch base of bowl). Stir until melted and smooth. Spoon a little chocolate onto each biscuit. Sprinkle with 1OOs and 1000s. Stand until set.

You can melt chocolate in the microwave. Place chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on Medium (50%) in 2O-second bursts, stirring, until melted and smooth.
