Cajun prawn pâté

This slightly spiced pâté is quick and easy to make. Serve as individual pots or make a large one for a platter.

Method

1.Heat the oil in a frying pan, then add the red onion, spices and garlic, then sauté over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
2.Add the prawns and toss together. Cool for 10 minutes.
3.Blend the prawn mixture with the cream cheese in a food processor until smooth. Season to taste.
4.Divide into glass ramekins or pottles, then decorate each one with reserved prawns.
5.Drizzle over a little flavoured oil, then sprinkle with parsley and pepper. Cover the tops with baking paper and chill until serving.
6.Serve with toasted ciabatta slices.
