Steak and aioli sandwiches

Go upmarket with these juicy steak and aioli sandwiches, served on crusty grilled ciabatta with perfectly seasoned grilled tomatoes. Serve it with plenty of salad and you'll have a perfectly balanced and delicious meal.

Method

1.Cook beef on heated oiled grill plate (or grill or barbecue) until browned on both sides and cooked as desired.
2.Meanwhile, place tomatoes, cut-side up, on tray; drizzle with oil. Grill 10 minutes or until soft.
3.For aioli, combine garlic with mayonnaise and mix well.
4.Toast bread; spread with aïoli, top with steaks and tomatoes, sprinkle with basil and vinegar.
5.Serve with mesclun.
