Method
1.Cook beef on heated oiled grill plate (or grill or barbecue) until browned on both sides and cooked as desired.
2.Meanwhile, place tomatoes, cut-side up, on tray; drizzle with oil. Grill 10 minutes or until soft.
3.For aioli, combine garlic with mayonnaise and mix well.
4.Toast bread; spread with aïoli, top with steaks and tomatoes, sprinkle with basil and vinegar.
5.Serve with mesclun.
