1.Place pumpkin in a steamer over boiling water and cook 10 minutes, until tender.
2.Heat oil in a large saucepan on medium. Cook onion and garlic 3 minutes, stirring, until soft. Add cumin and chilli and cook for another minute, until fragrant. Stir in pumpkin and mash with a potato masher. Transfer to a bowl and cool.
3.Stir in sour cream, lemon juice and coriander. Season to taste and refrigerate until ready to go. Serve with crusty bread and vegetable sticks.
