Method
1.Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to packet instructions.
2.Meanwhile, combine the passata, tomato, garlic and chilli in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high (100%) power for 2 minutes, stirring once.
3.Drain pasta, return to pan. Toss tomato mixture, mussels and basil through pasta. Season to taste.
4.Top with extra basil and serve with crusty bread.
You can use 2 x 85g cans smoked mussels instead of the tub of mussel meat here. Add 1/4 cup pitted and sliced black olives for added flavour.
