1.In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and blend in milk until smooth. Return to heat and bring to boil, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens. Simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in cheese, season to taste.
2.In a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, cook pasta following packet instructions. Drain well and return to pan. Stir hot sauce through.
3.In a frying pan, heat oil on high. Saute cabanossi for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Toss through macaroni. Top with chives. Serve with crusty bread.
