Macaroni with cabanossi and tomato

Macaroni and cheese is taken to the next level with the addition of cabanossi and cherry tomatoes. Not only does it taste delicious, but it can be prepared in less than 30 minutes!

Method

1.In a large saucepan, melt butter on medium. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and blend in milk until smooth. Return to heat and bring to boil, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens. Simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in cheese, season to taste.
2.In a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, cook pasta following packet instructions. Drain well and return to pan. Stir hot sauce through.
3.In a frying pan, heat oil on high. Saute cabanossi for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Toss through macaroni. Top with chives. Serve with crusty bread.
