Method

1.In a large bowl, combine beef, mushrooms, onion, soy, vinegar, sugar and oil. Mix well and set aside 30 minutes.
2.Preheat a barbecue plate on high. Stir-fry beef mixture in 3 batches, 3-4 minutes, being careful not to overcrowd the plate. Push cooked portion to the side while repeating with remaining mixture.
3.Serve beef and mushrooms in lettuce leaves topped with chilli.
