Method
1.Cook farfalle in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water according to packet directions. Drain. Return to saucepan.
2.Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth. Season to taste.
3.Toss pesto through pasta in saucepan over a low heat for 1-2 minutes, until heated through. Serve pasta topped with basil leaves.
Prepare pesto at the last minute to avoid discolouration. Farfalle is a bow-tie shape pasta, but you can use any type of pasta.
