Ingredients: 1 medium_piece butter lettuce, leaves separated; 250 gram cherry tomatoes, halved; 2 (50g) shallots, sliced thinly; 1/3 cup (80ml) ranch dressing; 4 hard-boiled eggs, halved; 75 gram packet croûtons

Method

1.Divide lettuce, tomato and shallot among serving bowls. Drizzle with dressing.

2.To hard-boil eggs, place eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water.Bring to the boil and boil, uncovered, about 5 minutes until yolks are set. Carefully drain eggs and cover with cold water to cool before peeling.

3.Serve topped with egg and croûtons.

Ranch is a creamy, onion-flavoured dressing usually made from mayonnaise and either buttermilk or sour cream. Use caesar dressing, if you prefer.
