Method

1.Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 6 minutes or until tender. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of cooking water.
2.Return pasta to pan with reserved water and cream cheese. Cook and stir over moderate heat until cheese just melts.
3.Meanwhile, finely shred 1/4 cup of basil leaves. Stir shredded basil, tomato, ham and garlic into pasta mixture. Season. Serve warm, topped with remaining basil leaves.

Use 3 chopped large tomatoes instead of sun-dried tomato strips. Add a touch of cream for extra sauce.
