1.Heat oil in a large saucepan on medium. Sauté onion, garlic and spices, 4-5 minutes, until tender and aromatic.
2.Add calamari and cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes. Add tomato and capsicum, mixing well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, 15-20 minutes, until calamari is tender.
3.Add potato and cook, uncovered, 5-10 minutes. Stir in olives and simmer a further 5 minutes.
4.Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted boiling water according to packet instructions. Serve braised tomato calamari sprinkled with parsley and accompany with cooked pasta.
