Intensify the flavour of your meat dish with this tasty bean salad and crisp kumara wedges. This nutritious and delicious meal is perfect for a mid-week dinner for the whole family.
1.Combine garlic, olive oil, black pepper and salt and marinate steaks for at least 15 minutes.
2.Toss kumara wedges with oil and sea salt in a baking dish and roast at 200°C (180°C fan-forced) for 20-30 minutes, or until golden.
3.Cook steak on a hot barbecue or in a heavy-based frying pan for 4 minutes on one side, then turn and cook for 3 minutes to medium-rare. Cover steak with foil and a tea towel and rest for 10-15 minutes.
4.Gently toss bean salad ingredients together and season. Shake dressing ingredients in a jar and toss over salad.
