Method
1.In a large bowl, combine mince, onion, garlic and basil. Season to taste. Roll mixture into walnut-sized balls. Arrange on a baking tray. Chill for 15 minutes.
2.Heat oil in a large frying pan on high. Cook meatballs in 2 batches, for 4-5 minutes, turning, until browned on all sides. Drain on paper towel.
3.Heat pasta sauce with water in a large frying pan on high until boiling. Transfer meatballs to sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for a further 8-10 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through.
4.Meanwhile, cook pasta following packet instructions. Drain well. Toss through sauce. Serve topped with basil and parmesan.
All meatball ingredients can be combined in a food processor.
