Ingredients: 5 x 340g packets butter cake mix; Butter cream; 250 gram butter; 3 cup (480g) icing sugar; 2 tablespoon milk; blue, orange and green food colouring; Decorations; orange sprinkles; yellow sprinkles; 1 pink wonka nerd; 1 orange wonka nerd; 1/2 x 190g packet allen's sour rush jelly beans; 2 vanilla allen's milk bottle mania; 1/4 x 40g nestlé mint aero bar; 2 red allen's marella jubes; 1 allen's black cat; 1 allen's chicos; 1 yellow allen's marella jubes; 5 green allen's snakes alive

Ingredients

5 x 340g packets butter cake mix

Butter cream

250 gram butter

3 cup (480g) icing sugar

2 tablespoon milk

blue, orange and green food colouring

Decorations

orange sprinkles

yellow sprinkles

1 pink wonka nerd

1 orange wonka nerd

1/2 x 190g packet allen's sour rush jelly beans

2 vanilla allen's milk bottle mania

1/4 x 40g nestlé mint aero bar

2 red allen's marella jubes

1 allen's black cat

1 allen's chicos

1 yellow allen's marella jubes

5 green allen's snakes alive

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease deep 30cm round cake pan; line base with baking paper. Line 4 holes of 12-hole (1-tablespoon/20ml) mini muffin pan with paper cases.

2.Make cakes according to directions on packets. Drop 3 level teaspoons of mixture into paper cases; bake about 15 minutes. Pour remaining mixture into round cake pan; bake about 40 minutes. Stand cakes in pans for 5 minutes before turning, top-side up, onto wire racks to cool.

3.To make butter cream, beat butter until white as possible, gradually beat in half the sifted icing sugar then milk, then remaining icing sugar. Beat until smooth.

4.Using a serrated knife, level top of large cake; turn cake cut-side down. Cut cake into a fishbowl shape; secure on 35cm-square covered cake board with a little butter cream.

5.Place two-thirds of the butter cream in a small bowl; tint blue. Place half the remaining butter cream in a small bowl, keep plain. Place half the remaining butter cream in a small bowl; tint orange. Tint remaining butter cream green.

6.Using the picture as a guide, spread the blue butter cream over the top and sides of the cake to make water. Spread plain butter cream over the top of the cake, as pictured, reserving 1 tablespoon.

7.Spread orange butter cream over the top of two muffins; spread green butter cream over the top of one muffin. Spread remaining muffin with reserved plain butter cream. Using the picture as a guide, decorate cakes with orange and yellow sprinkles. Position cakes on fishbowl.

8.Position pink and orange Nerds on one orange cake and green cake to resemble eyes. Position half a Green Apple Jelly Bean on other orange cake to resemble eye.

9.Cut the top from one Milk Bottle, place on green cake for fin. Cut Aero Bar into two 1cm slices; position on green cake for tail. Trim red Jubes and Black Cat to resemble fins and tails; position on orange cakes.

10.Using the picture as a guide, slice Chicos and Milk Bottles, lengthways, into strips; join cut sides, alternately, to make striped fish, position on white cake.

11.Trim yellow Jube; position for fin and tail. Position a halved Strawberry Jelly Bean for eyes.

12.Using picture as a guide, decorate the fish bowl with Jelly Beans and trimmed green Snakes Alive.
