French toast with hazelnut spread

Mix up your normal French toast treat with a rich dark chocolate, hazelnut spread and fresh fruit, all in under 30 minutes.

Method

1.To make the hazelnut spread, place chocolate melts and butter in a heat-resistant bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir condensed milk and hazelnuts through. Set aside until required or store in sealed jar for later use.
2.To make french toast; In a shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk together. Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium. Brush with a little melted butter to grease. Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture to evenly coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes each side, until golden. Repeat with remaining bread, greasing between each.
3.Serve french toast with warm hazelnut spread, blueberries and sliced banana.
