Chocolate mousse cake
1.Grease and line a 20cm (base measurement) square cake pan with baking paper, extending paper above sides for handles. Cut cake into 1cm-thick slices; place over base of prepared pan, trimming to fit.
2.Using an electric mixer. make 2 sachets of mousse mixture in small bowl following packet directions, but using only 3X4 cup milk. Spoon mousse over cake; swirl top. Sprinkle with chocolate flakes from packet Cover; chill for 3 hours or until set.
3.Make Coffee Custard as recipe directs. Lift Cake from pan; out into pieces. Serve cake with Coffee Custard.
Coffee custard
4.Dissolve coffee in 1 tablespoon boiling water in a microwave-safe jug. Stir in custard, milk and sugar until combined. Microwave custard on High (100%) for 1 minute or until warm; stir. Serve.
Coffee Custard: Makes 1 1/2 cups Make ahead Prepare recipe up to a day ahead. Fold a chopped chocolate bar into mousse before setting.
