Method
1.Preheat oven to slow, 160°C. Lightly grease an 18 x 28cm slice pan. Line the base and 2 long sides with baking paper, allowing sides to overhang.
2.In a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together until pale and creamy. Beat in the vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold in choc bits almond meal, combined flours and milk until well combined.
3.Spread the mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Set aside in the pan to cool completely.
4.Use a fork to drizzle the melted while chocolate over the slice. Set aside to harden. Cut into squares to serve.
Make in advance and freeze without the chocolate drizzle
