Method
1.Combine chocolate, 125ml cream, sugar and essence in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (do not let base of bowl touch water). Stir, 2-3 minutes, or until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Remove bowl from heat.
2.Using an electric mixer, beat remaining cream to soft peaks.
3.Peel bananas and slice in half lengthwise. Arrange banana in serving dishes. Top with ice-cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Top with cream and marshmallows. Serve at once.
Mini marshmallows (also called mallow bakes) are in the baking aisle. You can prepare chocolate sauce in the microwave. Place ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on Medium (50%) in 1-minute bursts, stirring, until smooth.
