1.to make strawberry compote, combine strawberries, apricots, juice and sugar in a medium saucepan over moderate heat. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered, for 10 minutes or until fruit is soft and liquid syrupy. Cool for 30 minutes.
2.Place oats, barley, cinnamon, milk and 3/4 cup water in a large saucepan over moderate heat. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until thick.
3.Spoon porridge into bowls. Top with yogurt and compote. Serve at once.
