Method
1.In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1/2 cup water on low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add star anise and vanilla bean paste, increase heat and boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add lime rind and juice. Cover and set aside to cool.
2.Place all ingredients in a bowl. Toss to cover and chill 2 hours.
3.Sprinkle brown sugar over yoghurt and serve with fruit salad.
