Hot chocolate with cream and chocolate curls

This isn't your usual hot chocolate recipe. This is a little special, perfect for winter birthday dinners or breakfast in bed.

Ingredients

Hot chocolate

2 cup milk

100 gram milk chocolate, finely chopped

50 gram dark chocolate, finely chopped

3/4 cup thickened cream

2 teaspoon baileys irish cream liqueur

dark chocolate flakes, to serve

Method

Hot chocolate

1.Combine milk and chocolates in a small saucepan. Stir over a low heat for 4-5 minutes, or until mixture is smooth.

2.Meanwhile, in a small bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream and liqueur until soft peaks form.

3.Pour hot chocolate into four glasses. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate flakes.

In place of Baileys, you can use any liqueur you like.
