Method
1.Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Oil 19cm x 29cm rectangular slice pan.
2.Cook egg in oiled medium frying pan over low heat, stirring constantly, until scrambled.
3.Sift flour and sugar into medium bowl; rub in butter. Stir in milk; mix to a soft, sticky dough. Knead dough on floured surface; roll dough into 30cm x 40cm rectangle.
4.Spread tomato paste over dough; sprinkle with ham, top with egg then sprinkle with cheese. Season.
5.Starting from long side, roll dough up firmly; trim ends. Cut roll into 12 slices; place pinwheels, cut-side up, in single layer, in pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
