Method
1.Using a 9.5cm star pastry cutter, cut bread into stars. Spread half the stars with cream cheese; top with remaining bread.
2.Whisk eggs and milk together in a small bowl.
3.Melt butter in a large frying pan over moderate heat.
4.For each star, dip into egg mixture, then add to pan. Cook 2 minutes each side, or until golden brown.
5.Serve stars with baked beans.
