Method
1.Snap off tough ends of asparagus. Plunge asparagus into a saucepan of boiling water and cook for 2-4 minutes, until bright green. Drain and place on a paper towel.
2.Meanwhile soft boil eggs. Serve asparagus with eggs in cups, seasoned with freshly ground black pepper.
3.Serve with toast soldiers.
White asparagus can also be used.
