Method

1.Preheat oven to 160°C/140°C fan forced.
2.Combine oats, salt and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl. Make a well at centre. Stir in 1/3 cup hot water and oil. Using a spatula, mix well until a sticky dough forms. Stir in seeds.
3.Divide dough in half. Roll out each piece of dough between sheets of baking paper to form a 22cm-diameter round. Score each round into 16 wedges (don’t cut right through).
4.Transfer rounds, with baking paper, onto 2 baking trays. Bake, swapping trays halfway through cooking, for 40 minutes or until light golden. Cool on trays for 5 minutes.
5.Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Use a sharp knife to cut through markings. Serve.
