Method

1.Discard icing from cake. Use a serrated knife to level top. Place cake, cut-side down, on a cake plate or board. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
2.Tint frosting with green colouring. Spread a thin layer of frosting over top and sides of cake to cover. Freeze for 30 minutes more or until icing is firm.
3.Spread remaining frosting over top and sides of cake. Using sharp kitchen scissors, cut marshmallows in half horizontally. Dip cut side of large marshmallows into sprinkles. Pinch ends to form petal shape. Place large marshmallow halves on top of cake for daisies. Top daisies with yellow and pink chocolate buttons. Place some of the remaining buttons over the top and side of cake, then arrange 8 mini marshmallow halves around chocolate buttons to form a daisy. Decorate top and side of cake with remaining chocolate buttons.

You’ll need a 25cm (diameter) round plate or cake board. Turn flowers into butterflies by adding musk sticks and licorice antennae.
